Hello friends!
This is my first "haul" post, but it's a mini one!
I recently went to our local TJMaxx/HomeGoods hybrid store with my brother and his girlfriend, and the poor things trailed behind me while I wildly whipped aisle to aisle in excitement at being out of the house for once! (I had back surgery and have been mostly bed-bound for a month!)
Anywho, I found some fun little things to add to my cart and to enjoy this month. I hope this inspires you to get a little something for yourself as well!
First comes first is a mashup of two things I am obsessed with- face masks and sprinkles.
What? A face mask of sprinkles?
No, silly! It's just a pack of 3 sheet masks from a collaboration The Créme Shop did with Hello Kitty.

Lately, because I've been bound to my home and a bit lonely, I've been trying to come up with new ideas to keep myself occupied. And I realized, since I'm in a stage of healing, why not just allow myself the opportunity to, well, take care of my body?
Insert face masks. Not the kind that help Coronavirus from transmitting (damned be that virus!) but the sheet kind, filled with wholesome skincare ingredients that help hydrate, protect, clarify, tighten, and nourish the skin.
This particular package caught me eye because a) it's Hello Kitty, duh, and b) it was fun and bright and had SPRINKLES on it! Sprinkles. Also, it was only $4.99 for 3 of these collagen, cucumber, and white tea masks.
Although I found mine at TJMaxx, you can still find these online as well, on The Créme Shop website. The only downside is that a single mask is $4.00 and there are no packs of 3. You can either get 3 individual masks for $12.00 or a pack of 6 for $20.00. BUT keep an eye out because they always have sales like this one:

I also grabbed a couple of other mask packs, including an animal one, also from The Créme shop!

This one was only 3/$3, which is a win in my book! The sheet itself is in the design of a Red Panda, and includes skin-smoothing ingredients like retinol.
The other face mask is from an American K-Beauty brand named Nicka K New York.

I'll be honest, part of me was drawn to this package because of the bright colors and the squishy packaging! When you hold it in your hands and gently squeeze it, not only does it pleasantly crinkle and give you an ASMR moment, but it also squishes ever so slightly under your fingers!
I'm weird, I know lol.
BUT, I also grabbed this because of the amazing soothing properties honey has on the skin. When I was in high school my best friend and I used to put raw honey on our faces, let it dry, and then rinse it off. It was our frugile way of having a luxury spa day, and let me tell you, it worked! Welcome, baby soft skin!
This pack came with 7 sheet masks at only $4.99. If you can't find this in store, the brand website lists this mask for $1.99 each and has many other options as well.
And then, because I couldn't just get face masks... I also got one pack of foot masks! Now this brand I have tried before, and I really liked what they do.

This particular mask is for moisturizing the feet, and comes in a lavender scent.

I've used the gentle foot peel mask from Nature Love before, in the lavender mint scent, and it really did help my feet heal (haha) from a harsh winter of layered socks and wet snowboots. Plus, the scent is very, very refreshing.
This came with 3 sets of booties, and was $5.99. It's kind of hard to find this brand online, but I will link the lavender mint exfoliating mask I used about a year ago. A little internet hunting should find you some (slightly pricier) options of you don't want to track these down at TJMaxx, but I would say it's worth it.
And then... more face stuff? Oh, boy...
I just really like protecting and taking care of my white-as-toilet-paper Swedish skin, ok? Please don't judge me...
But, given this clay has over 19,540 5-star reviews on Amazon, I don't think you will judge me. In fact, chances are you've either tried this yourself, seen it somewhere, or use it regularly!

TJMaxx had a 1 lb container for $5.99, so I grabbed it because I just finished my (third!) 2 lb container at home.
This clay goes everywhere. I mix it with some organic apple cider vinegar, and then put it on my face, neck, chest, arms, etc. Like a full on mud bath. And let me tell you, the Aztecs knew what they were doing! This stuff literally sucks every impurity and toxin out of my skin.
And lastly, to round out my little haul, is a lovely book I grabbed. I've been wanting it for awhile now and when I saw it for $12.99 I pounced!

I already own and have read a Peonies book, because they are my favorite flower, but Hydrangeas come in a close second. Something about the big fat blue and pink bulbs makes me smile.

This hardcover book includes glossy full-page images of 75 different Hydrangea varieties, where to find them, and how to plant and raise them. I'm already a third of the way through, and it's been a very uplifting read!
Now tell me... should I do a May haul too?
